Massimo Dallaglio
Massimo Dallaglio is a documentary filmmaker and director of photography based in Reggio Emilia.
He produced and directed the documentary film The Magical Mountain – The Mystery of Bismantova (2024), recognized as a “FILM D’ESSAI” by the Ministry of Culture—a prestigious investigative work entirely dedicated to the mysteries and legends that have shrouded the Pietra di Bismantova for millennia, as recounted here by leading experts in every field: archaeology, history, literature, sports, and mysterious phenomena.

As director of photography, he worked on “Hasty Decisions” (2019), which was presented at Cannes and won an award at the Berlin Flash Film Festival, and “Ovunque ma non qui” (2017), a multi-award-winning short film about violence against women.
He teaches Film Acting at the Nassau Theater and serves as an external expert instructor at Liceo Canossa (RE) for the “Journalism and Radio Broadcasting” project; he is a freelance journalist with a degree in sociology.
